Ísaks Skóli

Kasper started at his new school today and it is great. It is so great it is hard to believe that his old school is only a 30 minute walk away. Totally different!

Clean fenced off playground, no glass. All the walls are freshly painted. Small classes, lots of extra help. There is 17 kids in Kasper's class with 2 teachers.

Fresh fruit snacks in the mornings. Good hot lunches. Lots of math and reading. What more could you want? Well there is more.

The after school care helps the kids do there homework. If you want your kids can go into gymnastics lessons right at the school. Twice a week they just go there straight after class, and you still just pick them up at the end of the day.

There is such a sense of community. Kasper must have felt so special because he was in the spotlight all day. Everyone wants to be friends with the new kid.

I stayed for the day today and I was so impressed. What sweet well behaved children. I only wish we would have put him there in the first place.

I'm so glad for Kasper! I, too, wish he been going there all along! At last - a good memory for him! :)
